EMCS - Update from HMRC
Posted: 14 12 09 by Alan GilchristFrom the 1st April 2010, all UK tax warehouses must be able to receive AADs electronically and provide receipts in the same way.
Note that only receipts from some "initial member states", the identity of which HMRC have yet to confirm, will be covered by electronic AADs. Despatches from member states not involved with EMCS from 1st April 2010 will continue to be accompanied by paper AADs and these must be dealt with as now in the member state of receipt.
